EDIT** To respond to Indian Hill's response I will amend the review. What was said was that my kid was sick and we needed to cancel the tee time. I don't personally feel I should have to elaborate much on how sick or what my kid has in order to relay the reason of cancellation. I'm unsure if it just was misunderstood or not heard as it was the first thing in the morning. That being said, Indian Hills did call back and refund the money paid for the round of golf, so we were made whole. To all that like to play at Indian Hills Golf Course be aware if you have an emergency and have to cancel. A buddy and I had a tee time this morning and I had to cancel after a family emergency when my kid developed croup in the middle of the night. All the parents know how bad croup can get, especially when they start having some trouble breathing. When we called to tell the pro shop we wouldn’t be coming to our tee time and explained the situation, the guy on the phone sounded very condescending and did not offer to reschedule or issue a refund in light of the emergency. I understand they have rules for cancellation but the attitude on the phone for an uncontrollable circumstance is crazy. I will n

The course was in great shape although greens were recovering from maintenance, so they were a bit slow, took two rounds to figure out the speed. Underestimated the course challenges until the back nine, definitely a course worthy of all skill levels. The staff were very friendly and helpful, playing a third round will be a charm today!

I really do not like to do this, because I know how hard it is to keep a golf course in decent condition. These greens are utterly destroyed at the moment. Do not golf here as of May 15th. There is not one green that is suitable for a round of golf. It wouldn’t be so bad if they would at least let you know before you tee off, or not charge you full price because of the conditions of the course. What’s understandable is golf course Maintenance. What’s not understandable is charging full price when you’re not getting the normal experience that you would at full price. Do not golf here anytime soon.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The greens are in terrible condition—so bad that they might as well move the pins into the fairway. There’s visible black algae on many of the greens, and instead of properly addressing it, they just dump sand on top and call it fixed. It’s clear there’s a lack of care in maintenance. The Bermuda grass is overwatered well into January, leaving the soil soggy all winter. On top of that, they’re cutting holes directly into algae-covered areas without even removing it properly—just putting it right back into the ground. To make matters worse, they’re charging $80 for a weekend round with these conditions. The front nine par 3s are using temporary tee boxes, and there’s not even a discount to reflect that. Overall, this feels like pure neglect and not worth the price.

Played this course this past Saturday and paid for 9 holes/greens 5/9 holes were in really bad shape with 3 boxes being pushed out by 50-60 yards. No signs or a courtesy heads up that the course is in really bad shape. Sent management a private message and it went unanswered. It’s understandable that weather is a factor and the ice we had was like no other season. But not being made aware of the course conditions is a deceptive business practice.
